Dancer’s Bios

*Samira…
fell in love with the art
of bellydance in 2000. She was introduced to the art form by a friend whom she began taking beginner classes
with at a local Buffalo studio. As the years went on, Samira’s bellydance experience emerged from
being a hobby to a lifestyle, which she embrased after the beautiful exposure of meeting and having the pleasure of dancing
and studying with amazing dancers at Spirit of the Tribes (Florida, 2005). Since, Samira has had the opportunity
to travel and study with professional bellydancers, including some Bellydance Superstars. Samira’s
inspirations include Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Kami Liddle, Unmata, Urban Tribal, Zafira, and the Indigo.
“Bellydance unleashes the inner Goddess…. Allowing her to come out
and experience life in a whole different realm.” ~Samira
*Zayna… began dancing at the age of 5 at Michelle
Merwin Dance Arts. She began with tap dancing, forming into jazz and then eventually trying out ballet. Only taking
two years of ballet, she decided to stick with tap and jazz. She studied both until graduating from high school and
then took some time off. After graduating from college and heading to the "real world", Zayna realized she
was missing something in her life. She decided to take a belly dance class, fell in love with it, and has been studying
the art of belly dance for 7 years. Currently she is studying and choreographing with Bella Dea Tribal Bellydance.
“Blending American Tribal Style, Urban and Modern music, we have developed
our own style of tribal fusion bellydance.” ~ Zayna
*Donna…her

powerful in
a woman” ~ Donna
